DMCA and Copyright Notice

Renascans respects the rights of creators, authors and publishers. If you believe material on the site infringes your copyright, tell us and we will review it.

1. How to file a notice

Send a written notice to the Report Issue form on our home page that includes:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work you say was infringed.
  • The exact URL of the page or chapter with the material to remove.
  • Your name, address, email address and phone number.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

2. What we do

When a complete notice arrives we review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material promptly. We may pass a copy of the notice to the person who posted the material.

3. Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice with the URL that was removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your area. We may restore the material unless the complainant tells us they have started legal action.

4. Repeat infringers

Renascans may suspend or close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe copyright.

5. False claims

Knowingly sending a false notice can make you liable for damages. Please make sure your claim is valid before you send it.
